  • Good Car - Great Buy - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

We have never owned a Hyundai before and we are pleasantly surprised. Great commuter car with great gas mileage. Very sporty feeling when driving. Most of all - an incredible amount of room inside - the back seat fits 3 comfortably and the hatchback trunk almost fits as much as out SUV. Very modern gadgets inside from the IPOD connnector, sun roof and great stereo with controls on the steering wheel. Finally a good deal on a good car.

I researched and test drove all the foreign compacts like Corralla , Sentra, Forte, Civic, etc.. Never gave Hyundia a thought until one night after test driving a Chevy I went was taking a short cut through the next door parking lot which was Hyundia. I sat in the Elantra and immediately knew this was the car, it feels and drives great. Ive got 3,000 miles on it so far and averaging 30-32mpg. It has good cargo and leg space. I highly recommend this car. It should be priced higher, probably shouldnt have mentioned that, but I already got mine!

  • Fun car to drive, easy to park - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

Traded in a Suburban, this car is fun to drive, somewhat noisy, so far we had 3k miles, my daughter like is very much (she is 3yrs old. my first brand new car, we have a 2001 Saab 95 that is not as noisy as this.

  • Value, utility and fun - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

This car has everything we needed and wanted: big on the inside with more cargo space than small SUVs we were looking at like the CX-7 or Tucson, small on the outside and very maneuverable into tight parking spaces and our garage, very good fuel economy for the size, great German styling, a well designed interior, lots of safety features like side airbags and ECS and ABS as standard, and a low sticker price. This car is sold as the i30cw and got the highest crash ratings, include side, from the UK and Australian testing agencies. Note the American NHTSA ratings were copied (inappropriately) from the Elantra sedan, with which this car shares none of its design.

  • What a gem! - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

I had considered the 09 Outback and Honda FIT before i eventually came upon the ET SE A/T. The legroom for the backseat is amazing, and the cargo room is unmatched when the seats are folded down. As far as safety features go, the ET is top-notch. It was airbags all around, ABS, ESC, and maximum braking when the pedal is suddenly depressed. The Honda FIT is roughly the same price, and doesnt come with ESC. This car has more passenger room than some of the compact and midsized SUVs on the market. The suspension is spring quite hard, so you can feel every imperfection on the road.

  • Love it! - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

I am in love with this car! I was actually in the market for a new Santa Fe, but I wanted to keep my payment low. As an alternative (I have two big dogs so I needed a car that would suit them comfortably), the touring is perfect for my needs. Lots of interior space, especially with the back seats down. The car is sporty and fun to drive, economical (so far, Im averaging 25 mpg) and has nice eye appeal. I chose the chili pepper red (my first red car!) with the tan/taupe interior: really nice combo. The bluetooth and XM/Sirius system is great. Excellent safety features, unbeatable price, and a quiet ride. I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

  • I hope Consumer Reports is correct - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

We bought this because CR is in love with the vehicle. The car (as the i-30 elsewhere in the world) has garnered all kinds of awards over the past 3 years. Compared to my Pontiac Vibe (Corolla), the ET has better fit and finish, excellent visibility, transmission, and is unbelievably quiet. The dash layout is simple and attractive, the Bluetooth is voice interactive and a must have, and the air conditioner is far superior to any other car I have ever seen. The ET is much more comfortable for rear passengers than the new Tucsan. If the reliability holds up as CR thinks it will, Ill be buying Korean products instead of Japanese from now on. Buying this car is a no brainer.

  • Another Sleeper from Hyundai!!!! - 2010 Hyundai Elantra Touring

This is my third Hyundai, and our most impressive Hyundai so far. The perfect little Euro-Style hauler for my wife and I, with just enough room for our dog in the back. I love the way it drives and handles, and for the price I dont think youll find a more feature packed ride. AC, Power Windows and Doors, ESC, Traction Control, ABS, Tire Pressure Monitor, XM Radio, MP3/IPOD plug-in on a base model GLS? It even tells me the outside temperature! Try getting that in any other vehicle! I used Edmunds.com TMV and competing dealership quotes to purchase for $1900 UNDER the invoice price. Best car buying experience of my life. Thanks Edmunds!
